Request Data Deletion
We respect your right to control your personal data. You can request complete deletion of your account and all associated data using either of the two methods below.
How to Delete Your Data
Option 1: In-App Deletion
The fastest way to delete your data:
- Open the NnekaTV app
- Go to Profile
- Tap Delete My Account
- Confirm the deletion
Your account and all data will be deleted immediately.
Option 2: Contact Us
If you cannot access the app, submit a Data Deletion Request through our Support page.
Select "Data Deletion Request" as the subject, and include the email address associated with your account so we can locate and delete your data.
What Gets Deleted
When you request data deletion, we permanently remove the following:
- Your account and login credentials
- Profile information (name, photo, bio)
- Comments you have posted
- Likes and reactions
- Bookmarks and saved content
- Follows and following lists
- Messages and conversations
- Search history
- Achievements and badges
- Notification preferences and history
Timeline
In-app deletion is processed immediately. Requests submitted through the Support page are processed within 30 days of receipt. You will receive a confirmation email once your data has been deleted.
Important Notes
- Data deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
- Active subscriptions should be cancelled through your app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) before deleting your account to avoid continued billing.
- Some data may be retained as required by law (e.g., transaction records for tax purposes) but will no longer be associated with your identity.
